Dan has been interested in guns for as long as he can remember. He was taught safe handling and shooting by his dad. When he was in sixth grade studying WWII, his great uncle (and WW II veteran) brought over an M1 Garand and M1903 Springfield rifle. Since then, his love of firearms has grown. Dan enjoys shooting and reloading. He has been gunsmithing his own firearms since he started shooting. He has been working in the manufacturing industry for 20 years and also loves woodworking, metalworking, and knifemaking.
Dan earned a bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Bradley University and attended the Brownell's 1911 Handguns course at Trinidad State Junior College. He has had an FFL and has been gunsmithing since 2009.
